road bike: 2nd annual tweed ride rescheduled - November 10, 2013

In an effort to make this an annual event, the Tweed Ride has been rescheduled for this Sunday, in the AM. This is a lycra-free event. Classic to contemporary interpretations of Tweed are encouraged. Don't fancy tweed? No need to fret. How about some argyle, a lovely scarf, a tie of some fashion, or any of your Sunday finest? Helmets are required while riding. Fashionable caps and hats are encouraged for your time off the bike. An 11 to 13 mile flat loop will carry us north through downtown Salt Lake, with an option to tour the Gateway, before arriving at Temple Square. We will continue to Einstein Bros for a proper social stop. After Einsteins, we will tour the Gilgal Sculpture Gardens, the Artesian Well, and return through Liberty Park. We will depart at 9:00 AM and return to our starting point by noon.
