introduction to canoeing-training - February 9, 2015
The WMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the WMC Liability Waiver, online registration is required for all in person WMC events.Interested in canoe trips? Come to an intro session to show you what to bring on a canoe trip and how to pack a canoe for a multi-day trip (like the Black Canyon trip). See how to keep your gear dry whether on a day trip or a longer trip. This is being held in conjuction with the Trip Organizer training with one session of each at 6:30, and another at 7:15, so you can attend either or both. There will be an on-water session held on Bountiful Pond at a later date. RSVP to Pam Stalnaker at firstname.lastname@example.org requested but not required.
