Join me in town, this is accessible by transit or foot or bike-..come join us for a brisk jaunt. We will be leaving the meeting area 2 (see below) at 5:40 p.m., being there by 5:30 to socialize and sign-in is nice so that we can begin our jaunt at 5:40 To see a map of Red Butte Amphitheater http://www.redbuttegarden.org/spring-plant-sale the road is the one above 'Sale Area' Generally you can expect a steady walking pace. We will be down by dusk, but bring a flashlight, water, 10Es as recommended. If weather is questionable (strong wind or rain or snow!), call me by 4:45 pm to confirm, or preferably the night prior by email. Dogs are allowed here. Fast walking kids are ok too. I am fond of the North-end Wasatch foothill hikes due to close access to my home/work and the viewing of wildlife. I have seen deer, elk, grouse, vultures, hawks, and the scrub oak, sage bush, flowers too. One more thing....Cell phone silencing is preferred; I enjoy 'being in the moment' during a hike, and each of our real-time presence!
