mountaineering triple traverse - May 2, 2015

The WMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the WMC Liability Waiver, online registration is required for all in person WMC events.
This route starts with a steep snow climb through Tanner Gulch and continues over Dromedary and Sunrise peak to the top of Twin Peaks. The initial elevation gain to the top of the north couloir is about 3500 feet. This is a long fun endurance day requiring previous mountaineering experience and proficient use of an ice axe and crampons. Please bring avi gear (beacon, shovel, probe). Call or email Lubos to register and for more information. This trip is subject to change based on current snow conditions. Prepare for an early start at 6 a.m.
