hiking trail maintenance - national trails day - June 4, 2016

The Wasatch Mountain Club will support and participate in this years National Trails day event. The work will involve building the new section of the Bonneville Shoreline trail near the Heughs Canyon trailhead. There is a 1-2 mile hike to the work area. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to do litter clean up and invasive weed control. To participate, please register at plic@xmission.com or call at 801-466-6411. Please register by Thursday June 2, 0500 pm. Information about parking and exact event location will be emailed to registered participants. In addition to bringing the10 Es and water, please wear long pants, sturdy closed toed footwear, sun glasses or safety glasses, and work gloves. A light breakfast and lunch will be offered.
