day hike/robert's horn cancelled due to weather - October 16, 2016

The WMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the WMC Liability Waiver, online registration is required for all in person WMC events.
Robert's Horn is a spectacular summit located in the Timpanogoes massif. The trail winds up through an oak/maple forest with scattered aspen providing us with plenty of fall colors to feast our eyes on. An easy class 2 scramble above Emerald lake puts you on the peak with a 360 degree view of the Wasatch range. Dogs are welcome but bring a leash in the event of any close encounters with mountain goats.
