rock climb - the hinterlands (provo) - April 16, 2017

About 800 feet above the Utah Valley, and just north of Rock Canyon, the Hinterlands is great early spring area for sport climbers. With over 50 routes, these limestone walls face due south and west. Even during times of inversion, this area sits just above the smog line, making it a nice getaway. The routes range from 5.4 to 5.13+. With a 20 minute steep hike, it is an nice, quiet place to get away and still be close to the city. Join us for an Easter day climb and maybe find some eggs hidden in cracks, on ledges, or hanging from bolts. And as always, participants are required to wear a helmet and to have fun.
