snowshoe - pine hollow peak in american fork - December 29, 2019

The WMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the WMC Liability Waiver, online registration is required for all in person WMC events.
We plan to make "Pine Hollow Peak" (8,440 ft) from Tibble Fork Reservoir in American Fork, weather and conditions permitting. This rarely climbed peak can be hiked via the beautiful forest which offers great views of nearby mountains. Please bring snowshoes, microspikes, and 10Es. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, December 27, for the meeting place and time. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Update (12/24): Avalanche safety gear (avalanche beacon, probe and shovel) NOT required BUT recommended. I have extra avalanche safety gear. If you want to borrow it, please indicate when you register.
