flat water - causey reservior and kokanee run
Causey Reservoir in Weber County (South Fork of Odgen River) has a large population of Kokanee Salmon. Each fall, thousands of Kokanee turn red and surge upstream to the tributaries they once hatched, where they swim, spawn and succumb. Join me at Causey for a flat water paddle across the lake and short hike to see the Kokanee. Causey Reservoir is friendly to kayaks, canoes, SUPs, and dogs. Please RSVP so I can anticipate your participation.
