hike: lone peak via jabob's ladder or cherry canyon or ... - July 25, 2020

The WMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices.
THIS ACTIVITY IS LIMITED TO 6 PEOPLE AND IS FULL. This is the beautiful quartz monzonite cirque above Draper. 11,260 feet elevation, 11 miles round trip, and 5,603 feet gain. Expect a moderate pace. Anticipate scrambling and exposure (possible class 4 depending on route). Drive time is about 1 hour to trailhead from SLC. Expect an extremely early morning start to avoid the heat. I have climbed routes on Lone Peak but this will be my first time hiking to the top of Lone Peak. Please RSVP (Have you hiked Lone Peak previously and what is your preferred trail? Interested in also bagging Big Horn?).
