day hike - cone peak & peak 10931 in the uintas - July 4, 2020

The WMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices.
We plan to bag Peak 10931 and Cone Peak (11,240 ft) - also known as Kimberly Peak - in the Uintas, weather, conditions and situation permitting. Those peaks are located in the very beautiful area in the Uintas. There is a trail which goes near the peaks. But there is no trail in the last ascend (class 2 scrambles). Please bring 10 Es. The location may change depending on situations. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, July 3, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info. Limit 8. COVID-19 protocols will apply. Co-organized with Stanley Chiang. Stanley plans to camp out near the TH Friday night. Please feel free to join him. The rest of us will get to the TH on the day of the hike.
