house range, swasey and notch peak hike and car camp

Car camp and bag two peaks in two days. Drive out Saturday morning and set up camp near Swasey Peak. Hike Swasey that afternoon. Sunday morning drive 20 miles south to the Notch Peak trailhead. Do the peak and be back to SLC late afternoon on Sunday. Swasey Peak is the highest point in the House Range at 9,678 feet. The hike is just under 4 miles round trip with about 1700 feet elevation gain. Notch Peak is 9,654 feet, about 7.5 miles total hiking with about 2800 feet elevation gain. Both are MOD rating with Swasey probably MOD- and Notch MOD+. Must register with organizer.
