national public lands day service hike, red pine !!! trailwork in your bones - September 26, 2020
Join the nationwide volunteer event and take part in building the trails we all enjoy. today we will join with the USFS to work on the Red Pine trail. mainly building erosion control structures on the new trail sections and junking the decommissioned section of trail. Meet at the White Pine trailhead in LCC at 8:00 AM and plan on working until about 2:30 or 3. Its a 3.5 mile hike to the work area so come prepared for energetic wilderness travel with water and food, sturdy shoes, and gloves. Covid safety protocols (mask, distancing) will be observed
